Multicultural fair coming to Fayetteville Public Library

The Fayetteville Adult Career Training and Fayetteville Public Library will host a multicultural fair next week.

The event, set from 9 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, April 23, will take place at the event center inside Fayetteville Public Library.

Officials said that 45 countries will be represented at the event, with adult english as a second language students affiliated with the Fayetteville Adult Career Training program on hand to share aspects of their cultures including “food sampling, table presentations, and talent offerings.”

The event is free to attend and open to the public.

“One of the highlights of the Multicultural Fair is the ability to provide our adult English as a Second Language students an opportunity to showcase the vibrancy and uniqueness of their cultures to the general public,” said Dr. Robbie Cornelius, Director o Adult Education in a press release about the event.
