A public surface parking lot is seen in this Google image from December 2023.The city will close the public parking lot at the northeast corner of Center Street and Church Avenue on Monday, April 22 for surface treatment maintenance.
The lot will be closed to the public, but the alleyway between the lot and the businesses on Block Avenue will remain open, according to a news release.

The lot is expected to reopen on Tuesday, April 23, but that could be delayed due to inclement weather or other conditions.
Parking Manager Justin Clay said Monday’s maintenance will focus on crack sealing, while resurfacing will occur at a later date.
The city said information about other parking options near the Center Street is available lot on the city’s parking webpage.
