A new event combining fashion and music is coming to NWA this summer.
Local fashion studio Big Sister Studio will host an event called Fashion Fit for (a) Queen on Saturday, June 22 at The Medium in Springdale.
The event will include music by Austin Queen Tribute band, Magnifico combined with a fashion show featuring local designers, models, and performers showing off their skills on the runway.
“If a fashion show, a musical, and a rock concert had a baby, it would be this show.” said Big Sister Studio creative director Brandy Lee in a press release this week. “Queen’s music is filled with drama and theatrics, just like fashion, so it felt like a perfect match to showcase them together. This event was created to pay tribute to their musical legacy by way of fashion.”
Tickets to the show are $15, and are on sale here. A portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit NWA Equality.
The Medium is located at 214 S. Main Street in Springdale.
