Summer is fast approaching, and the local public pool is set to open soon.
The Wilson Park pool will officially open for the 2024 season on May 25, Fayetteville Parks, Natural Resources, and Cultural Affairs officials announced this week.
In addition to open swim and lap swimming, the public pool offers youth and adult swim lessons, youth recreation swim team programs, dive-in movies and private pool party reservations. Concessions are also available.
Daily admission is $4 for adults and $3 for ages 15 and under. Multiple-visit passes, family passes and season passes are also available

Monday through Friday
11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Adult Lap Swim
1-4:30 p.m. – Open Swim
6-8 p.m. – Family Swim (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
Saturday and Sunday
12-1 p.m. – Adult Lap Swim
1-6 p.m. – Open Swim
