The pigs are painted by local artists, sponsored by local businesses and then placed around town. About half of the sculptures will be auctioned during the “Piggies go to Market” event in March at the Fayetteville Town Center.
Local artist Rae Russell designed the Fayetteville-inspired sculpture which features depictions of popular locations around town including the Fayetteville Public Library and the castle at Wilson Park.
