Local party band Ultra Suede will kick things off after work for happy hour at George’s. Later on, the Gar Hole-iday winter showcase featuring Gar Hole Records’ stellar lineup of local and regional artists will start its two-day run of music with The Deslondes, Dylan Earl, Sabine McCalla, and Two Runner playing on Friday night. Saturday’s lineup includes Nick Shoulders and the Okay Crawdad, along with Esther Rose, Chris Acker, Bonnie Montgomery, and Maddy Kirgo. Here’s more about the showcase.
On Friday night, the second installment of the Open Streets on the Square car-free experience is happening around Lights of the Ozarks. The open streets event this week coincides with Holiday Haul, a shopping event created to highlight women-owned businesses around the square. Here’s a bit more info.
Another Gar Hole-iday-related event, The Pop-Out @ Gar Hole Records, is happening on Saturday afternoon. The event was created by Hopout DIY, AM/PM Bar, and Gar Hole Records, will include music, a holiday market, food trucks, and more. Performers include Austin Cash, Jess Harp, and Chicken Milk.
