The big show is at George’s tonight, where 6 local bands will try to fight, scrap, and shred their way to the stage of this year’s Wakarusa festival during the second annual Waka Winter Classic.

Gravity Radio plays Tuesday at Walton Arts Center
The show at the Star Theatre inside the Walton Arts Center on Tuesday won’t likely be their biggest of the year. It may, however, be one of the most interesting live music events that come through Fayetteville in 2010.

There’s live music scheduled at both JJ’s Grill and Pesto Cafe. Over at Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall, there’s a clarinet recital at 7:30 p.m.

It’s a Memphis weekend in Fayetteville as Lucero plays two nights at George’s and the Memphis Roller Derby takes on the Arkansas Killbillies at Starlight Skatium.
