It’s June 21, which means two things. For starters, today is the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. We hope you got some sleep last night.

The list of choices for fun on a Monday night are usually pretty slim, but tonight is somewhat of an exception.

We hope you have a pool, a boat, a good sprinkler system or maybe a slip-n-slide ’cause it’s gonna be hot. We also hope that you find some kind of frosty and refreshing beverage to help keep you cool.

There’s a nasty-looking storm hanging out in the sky this morning, but it can’t quite seem to make up its mind on whether to stay or go.

We just had a hard drive failure that gave us one serious case of the goosebumps. In other words, the time to replace is right…about…now.

It’s going to be a hot, quiet week in Fayetteville. Temperatures are set to hover around the low 90s, both the UA and public school systems are in summer mode, and the few bikers that came to town over the weekend are long gone.

The second round of the JR’s Lightbulb Club Drunken Spelling Bee is tonight. That plus more in today’s to-do.

Austin’s The Black is in town today for a show at The Lightbulb Club.

Three Wakarusa bands are still in the area and will be playing a free show at George’s tonight. Get your final Waka fill.

This town rules the schools. Do something awesome.

If you’re not headed to any of the above, there are still plenty of options for evening fun in Fayetteville.
